The 1970 Baltimore Orioles won 108 regular-season games and swept the Minnesota Twins in the ALCS to advance to the World Series. The Orioles cruised past the upstart Cincinnati Reds in five games to capture their second title in five years. While Hall of Famers Jim Palmer and Frank Robinson contributed, the series was a showcase for MVP Brooks Robinson who hit .429 and made multiple outstanding defensive plays.
