On the cover of the 1962 New York Mets yearbook is a baby wearing a pair of spikes, a diaper, and a Mets hat. It's a famous franchise image representing the team's birth. Today, that baby is 50 years old and it has a lot of stories that can be told through tickets.
This print does just that by featuring one regular season ticket from each of the Mets 51 seasons (1962-2012) including the franchise's inaugural game as well as the first game played at Shea Stadium in 1964. Plus, it has tickets from the 1964 All-Star Game, 1969 World Series, and 1986 World Series. Also represented are tickets from the final game at Shea Stadium and the first game at CitiField. This ticket collage is topped off with an image of the Mets 50th anniversary patch.
