On July 18, 1999, David Cone threw a perfect game at Yankee Stadium. Cone walked none and struck out 10 in the Yankees 6-0 victory over the Montreal Expos. The event marked the second straight season in which a Yankee hurler threw a perfect game as David Wells blanked the Minnesota Twins on May 17, 1998. Both feats were a precursor to bigger celebrations as the Yankees captured World Series victories both seasons.
This David Cone Mega Ticket commemorates the occasion, is perfect for autographs, and makes a great gift.
