Major League Baseball's best players headed to St. Louis to participate in the 80th All-Star Game on July 14, 2009. The event marked the fifth visit by baseball's best players to the Gateway City and first since 1966. The Cardinals also hosted the festivities in 1957 and 1940 while the St. Louis Browns of the American League hosted in 1948.
The American League edged the National League 4-3 and Carl Crawford was named MVP. The game's opening ceremony was filled with emotion and included Stan Musial, Sheryl Crow, and President Barack Obama. This Mini-Mega Ticket commemorates the occasion, is perfect for autographs, and makes a great gift.
Overall size: 6 (W) x 14 (H) x 1/4 (D).
During the past year, the Mega Ticket® has become a staple at retail outlets, team stores, and autograph shows nationwide as well as online. Just as the mini-helmet and mini-bat were born from the success of their larger predecessors, now comes the Mini-Mega Ticket.
Officially licensed by MLB®, Mini-Mega Tickets are made from authentic MLB tickets that are enlarged 200% and printed directly on 1/4-inch thick PVC board. They can be hung on a wall or displayed on a desktop using a unique two-piece acrylic stand.
