In 1944, citizens of St. Louis were treated to a World Series featuring their Browns versus their Cardinals with all games being played at Sportsman’s Park. While the Cardinals were amongst baseball’s most successful franchises, the 1944 Browns were the only team in franchise history to claim an American League pennant.
The Cardinals, led by Stan Musial and Mort Cooper, captured the series in six games. The victory marked the fourth World Series title for the Cardinals.
This 1944 World Series Mini-Mega Ticket commemorates the occasion, is perfect for autographs, and makes a great gift.
Overall Size: 6 (W) x 12 (H) x 1/4 (D).
During the past year, the Mega Ticket® has become a staple at retail outlets, team stores, and autograph shows nationwide as well as online. Just as the mini-helmet and mini-bat were born from the success of their larger predecessors, now comes the Mini-Mega Ticket.
Officially licensed by MLB®, Mini-Mega Tickets are made from authentic MLB tickets that are enlarged 200% and printed directly on 1/4-inch thick PVC board. They can be hung on a wall or displayed on a desktop using a unique two-piece acrylic stand.
