Held at Sportsman's Park/Busch Stadium, the 1957 All-Star Game is often remembered for the ballot-stuffing antics of Cincinnati Reds fans who helped get seven of their players into the starting lineup (Commissioner Ford Frick vetoed two of the selections). On the field, the AL held off a 9th inning rally to win 6-5.
Memorable Moment: Hank Aaron and Willie Mays named to the starting lineup replacing the Reds Wally Post and Gus Bell via the commissioner's office.
Other Hall-of-Fame Participants included: Nellie Fox, Al Kaline, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, George Kell, Yogi Berra, Jim Bunning, Early Wynn, Red Schoendienst, Stan Musial, Eddie Mathews, Frank Robinson, and Ernie Banks.
This 1957 All-Star Game Mini-Mega Ticket commemorates the occasion, is perfect for autographs, and makes a great gift.
