The 2009 NHL All-Star Game was held in Montreal on Jan. 25. The Eastern Conference edged the Western Conference, 12-11, thanks to a shootout victory and an MVP performance from Alexei Kovalev. The event helped the Canadiens celebrate their 100th anniversary as a host of legendary players were honored including Henri Richard, Yvan Cournoyer, and Dickie Moore.
