Tickets for Kids Charities brings the wonder and magic of live arts & cultural, educational, sporting, and family events to lower-income children and their families who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
A non-profit organization, Tickets for Kids is based in Pittsburgh, Penn., and partners with organizations and agencies nationwide. In 2007, Tickets for Kids Charities created opportunities for underserved children and their families to experience 7,700 events.
History Founded in 1994, Tickets for Kids Charities is committed to enriching the lives of underprivileged children. They were established after realizing the number of empty seats and lack of diversity present at various shows, games, and events that could be filled by often-forgotten children and their families.
Since their inception, Tickets for Kids has reached over 1 million kids and their families who otherwise would not have the chance to attend quality events. Now that they have included one million children, they are focused on creating opportunities for the next million!
